The name of Chip Conk has been in the business industry for more than 25 years. In fact, his name has been well-known in the calendar industry, in real estate, and in the field of medicine. Over the years, he had established companies that have been consistently successful even in the ownership of other investors. Ever since he started business in 1983, he has formed five ventures in three different commerce levels, all of them are still lucrative and doing well. From Day Dream Publishing in 1983 to Montecito Medical Investment Company presently, every venture has been successful by every right.

Day Dream Publishing began in 1983, all created only to sustain his educational needs, including his tuition and meals. It grew to be the largest calendar producing company not only in the US, but also all over the world, as it serves over 26 countries. From sorority contest winners at University of California in Santa Barbara, Day Dream had acquired the biggest names in sports, movies, TV series, and cartoons such as Michael Jordan, NBA, Disney Pictures, Time, Warner, Universal Pictures, The Lion King, and more. As the progress was unstoppable, Chip Conk sold the company for $67 million, and the ownership was turned over in 1997.

The next focus of Chip Conk was in the real estate industry where he established three businesses that took the opportunity of developing average and old looking communities into the best of properties that buyers and sellers are taking interest in. He and his siblings created Chelsea Residential, the same year when he sold Day Dream Publishing. The business acquired, renovated, and developed apartment communities in Texas and Florida. Despite  the portfolio in having over 4,000 apartment homes, it was sold in 2005. Montecito Property Company is a hyped version of Chelsea, which developed condominiums that were sold in a total of $2.7 billion and ended in 2006.

Chip Conk changed his business perspective in another necessity, which is the development of properties and facilities as handled and managed by Montecito Medical Investment Company, established in 2006. While this venture is in operation, Medical Devices was also pursued in 2008 were tools like CyberKnife and ZERONA body contouring was sold, and ended selling the ownership. Currently, the Conk siblings are still managing MMIC, which acquired 46 medical assets and a portfolio that is growing to 1.29 million square feet, all over the United States.

What does it feel to be a man with multi talented gift? For such question, we can see what Paul Morabito has achieved during his life. For him, to live means to learn as many as possible. Since a kid, he learned a wrestling sport and other lessons, even the economical lesson. He never hesitated or scared to learn something new and find out what challenges lie beneath it.

That is what he also thought when he first met concrete as a part and media in the world of art. It was in the early 90’s when he experienced this. Somehow, the concrete surface and character attracted him so much; he tried to learn how to “tame” it. Step by step, he started to understand the concrete’s capability and basic technique. He never stopped researching and learning for every way to be a concrete artist.

Later, in the year of 2006, Paul Morabito accidentally experienced his turning point when he first saw an integrated system of sink in a home furnishing magazine called Concrete Décor Magazines. When he saw this, he knew that he was on the right path. His further researches finally took him to the Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products. Paul was intrigued and challenged by seeing what people can do toward the concrete surface.

His experience and learning lessons in the concrete world finally brought him to what he has become by now, a concrete artist. His artworks from small media into a landscape size, allows him to meet so many art projects, such as the one that he involved: the building and furnishing industry
