When to Call in the Lawyers

Posted by admin in Business Ethic

Anyone who follows the national news knows that there’s no shortage of debate on the subject of “tort reforms.” Without going into all the legalese associated with the issue we can easily sum it up by saying that some people think Americans are too quick to sue one another. And while it’s true that frivolous law suits sometimes make it court, there are plenty of times when a lawsuit is the appropriate response to a situation.

One very common lawsuit, that’s not frivolous, is an accident injury claim. Every years, dozens of Scottsdale residents are injured in auto accidents through no fault of their own. These accidents can cause serious, long term problems when the accident victim is unable to return to their job. That’s when the accident victim needs the help of one the many well qualified Scottsdale auto accident lawyers who specialize in helping people rebuild their lives.

Accident victims need to realize that their settlement check is just one tool they’ll need to reclaim their old lives. But getting the cash to get started on the rebuilding is very important and getting it on your own is nearly impossible. The right Scottsdale auto accident attorney can help an accident victim through this tough time and make getting on with normal life a lot easier.

Posted by admin in Business Ethic

It must be believed that the basic practices of business ethics will always benefit the company well for the medium term and long term. This is because of several reasons below:

• Ability to reduce costs due to averted the possibility of friction, both internally and with external companies.
• Ability to enhance worker motivation.
• Protecting the principle of freedom of trade
• Ability to enhance competitive advantage.

Inevitably, an unethical act committed by the company would provoke retaliation from consumers and society and would be very counter-productive, for example through the boycott movement, prohibition of supply, operating restrictions and so forth. This will reduce the value of sales and company value.

Meanwhile, companies that place a high value on business ethics, in general, including companies that have a high work satisfaction ratings as well, especially if the company does not tolerate unethical acts, such as discrimination in the system of remuneration or career path.
