Flying into LAX
This morning I flew into LAX because I was going to be spending the next two weeks visiting with my old college roommate. As soon as he pulled up in his big SUV with his Hollywood bike racks I knew I wasn’t going to get a bit of rest. Indeed, we headed right out to the mountains and started racing up and down the trails. It’d been forever since I’ve seen this beautiful place and I was happy to be back. I spent a great deal of time here in my younger days and I’ve always wanted to move back, but my finances have just not allowed it.
After we finished we loaded up the hitch bike racks and headed back to his place. He’s been doing quite well working in the entertainment industry and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Back when we were in school we always talked about making a name for ourselves, but it seems like he’s the one who’s actually doing it. I on the other hand slave away all day at an accounting firm, which is incredibly boring. I still can’t believe that I ended up changing my major during senior year, which was one of the biggest mistakes that I’ve ever made.
